Vendata is an association that aims to produce the largest collection of open data with public information in Venezuela, through the collection, processing and transformation of closed data into open formats. In the first phase of project creation, a sample of all the documents was selected and the topics of public interest to be systematized in databases were defined. Then, a basic structure was established and a flush web form was built. Each data entered was checked and cleaned. With the data obtained, the search engines of the Official Gazette and the Memories and Accounts were carried out, as well as the investigations available on this portal in alliance with more than eight media and civil society organizations. Regarding the technology used to create the emptying form and the search engine, PHP and SQL were used with Java and Jquery plugins.
